LIQUID SETS GRAND OPENING

COLUMBUS, OH - May 6, 2008 - Liquid, the new cafe, lounge and weekend danceclub located in
the Short North sets its grand opening date for Saturday, May 17. Doors will open to the public at
7PM. The party will feature complimentary hors d'oeuvres, specialty drinks, professional dancers and
live DJ entertainment. Prior to the grand opening, Liquid has scheduled an invitation-only VIP party on
Friday, May 16, for everyone who signed up early on the liquidhotspot.com website.
Liquid is a full service restaurant and lounge open seven days a week, featuring Liquid Lunch specials
and Happy hour + small plates. "Liquid is open to everyone for lunch, dinner and happy hour," says
Deborah Yankulov, club owner. "Our Chef, Sherri Brunner, has put together an eclectic cafe-style
menu serving delicious food at decent prices."Yankulov says to expect some sizzle on the weekends
when the entire club will be transformed to ladie's night every Friday and Saturday night. The space is
outfitted with a complete light and sound system, including their very own Liquid lights. Sexy dancers
and DJs spinning mainstream club dance music will be part of the entertainment, along with monthly
themed parties and impromptu staff performances. "We want this to be a fun place where the ladies
can come out, have a great time and feel comfortable who they are," says Yankulov. Liquid also plans
a lush outdoor patio garden, which will be smoker-friendly.

Columbus Lesbian and Gay Softball Association (CLGSA) Kick-off Party
The Columbus Lesbian and Gay Softball Association (CLGSA) kicks off its 2008 season with another player registration party.
For 27 years, the CLGSA has offered members of our community an opportunity for fun, friendship, and competition.
The league offers divisional play for all skill levels from beginner to Travis Hafner. For the first time since 1988, Columbus will be sending teams to the World Series in Seattle, August 25-31.
The league requests that all players (including returning players) register in person for the 2008 season. Registering in person will allow us to update league records and answer any questions you may have about our new affiliation with NAGAAA. Individuals who do not have a team are encouraged to register. The league will help match you with a team.
The registration party is also a fundraiser for the league. Fundraiser will include drink specials and a 50/50 raffle. Join your teammates and other players for spring training and a few cocktails. The registration date is:
